What is dbDUB?
dbDUB is a knowledge sharing website. The site provides a platform for authors to post articles that they have written and offer them 80% of the ad revenue in return.
Do I have to be signed up to post?
Yes, and that’s really easy. No personal information is needed except for your e-mail address.
How do I sign up?
Sign-up for a dbDUB account here.
Will dbDUB send me e-mails?
dbDUB will send you on average 1 email per month. This email will describe such information as making your posts better, making more money, contests, or other fun information. If you do not wish to receive such emails you can simply click the ”unsubscribe” link contained in the e-mail.
What are categories?
Categories are essential for helping users of the site quickly find information. Once you create an article, scroll to the right hand side of the screen and click the box next to the relevant category you wish to attach your post to.
What are tags?
Tags are essentially categories, but are even more specific. Limit each post to having 1-6 tags of between one to three words each. For example, if you write a post about ’Toy Airplanes’, the category you can choose will be ‘Games & Toys’ and the tags can be: ’model planes’, ‘rc airplanes’, ‘flying toys’, etc’.
Making Money
How do I make Money on dbDUB?
If you don’t have one already, you will need to create an account with Google Adsense, which is free and quick to do. Subsequently, enter your AdSense ID within your dbDUB account and, from now on, advertisements showing your code will be displayed 80% of the time on your articles pages. At this generous 80% rate, in addition to the more you post, you stand to make a nice income.
What is AdSense?
AdSense is a free Google service that provides a way to earn money online. After you sign up for dbDUB and apply your AdSense ID to your dbDUB account, Google will automatically display targeted ads on your posts. Each ad has a specific value, and every ad click adds money to your earnings!
Will my existing AdSense account work with Snipsly?
Yes! You just have to type your Publisher ID from your AdSense account to your dbDUB account.
How do I sign up for Google AdSense?

How do I apply Google AdSense to my dbDUB account?
Log in to your dbDUB account. Then, click on the “My Advertising” tab on your Snipsly dashboard and enter your Publisher ID into the AdSense ID field.
How do I get my article to rank in Google search results?
We will soon be adding a tutorial section to provide insight on how to optimize your articles for search engines.
Account Information
Why has my account been changed from “Author” to “Contributor”?
If you find that your account has been switched to “Contributor” status it is a result of our editorial process. We most likely found your articles to either not be unique, posted multiple times, continuously lacking sufficient content, or breaking one of dbDUB’s other Rules. You can still post from “Contributor” status, but all of your posts must be approved by one of our moderators.
We try hard to provide only well written and unique content which does not infringe on copyright ownership.
How do I close or delete my account?

Can I change my username?
No. Once you have selected a username, it cannot be changed.
Can I change my password from the one you’ve assigned to me?
Yes. When you log in to dbDUB you will automatically be redirected to your dashboard. Click ‘Profile’ on the left hand side of the screen. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will be able to input a new password. Passwords must be at least 7 characters long. To protect your account, try to make a password that is deemed ’Strong’ by the strength indicator.
I never received an e-mail with my password, what do I do?
If you didn’t receive an e-mail with your password, check your spam folder. Still no e-mail? Write to us at support@dbDUB .com and we’ll get back to you shortly after.
How do I update my profile?
You can update your profile through the dbDUB dashboard. After you log in to dbDUB you should be automatically redirected to the dashboard. Click the button on the left hand side of the page that says ‘Profile’. This page provides you the option of sharing personal information, such as your name, website and biographical information.
Posts
How do I post on dbDUB?
Simple! Sign up for an account. Once you are signed up and logged in you can easily create a user profile and post new articles from the menu on the left side of the dashboard. If you want to gain revenue from your work you will need to sign up for a Google Adsense account.
What can I write about?
On dbDUB, you can write about virtually anything as long as it does not violate our ’Terms of Service’. You can post informational articles, product reviews, poetry, artwork, long articles, short articles, pretty much lots and lots of articles!
Your articles must be unique content. Articles must be at least 60 words in length, but we encourage users to write more.
What can’t I write about?
You cannot write content which violates dbDUB’s ‘Terms of Service’. For instance, you are not allowed to post: plagiarized content, articles shorter than 60 words, articles which contain only keywords and no real content, adult oriented content (anything of a sexually explicit nature), material that is obscene, hateful, inflammatory or racist, links to gambling, pornography, illegal activities, or illegal content, excessively repetitive keywords or content, content written in any language other than English.
Why are my posts not showing up?
If your posts are not displaying after you publish them, two things could be taking place:
1. We have filters to instantly remove articles that violate our terms of service.
2. Your status has been changed to Contributor and requires a moderator’s approval prior to appearing on the site. If you feel as though your post was incorrectly filtered, e-mail us at support@dbDUB.com
Can I display video in my posts?
Displaying YouTube videos on Snipsly is easy. All you need to do is paste in the URL to the video you would like to show in the HTML editor section of the page where you would normally write a new post.
How long should my posts be?
Sixty words is the minimum post size. Articles can be of varying lengths but keep in mind that search engines prefer longer articles. All posts should be coherent and written by you. We will judge all articles, short or long, by the validity of their content.
An important optimization tip is to avoid “keyword stuffing”. If you overload keywords, or add irrelevant ones, the search engines may ban your articles.
I am having problems creating links in my post?
Links are an integral part of a good article. When you create a ‘New Post’ from the left dashboard menu, above the text editor you will see a standard hyperlink symbol. You just need to highlight the text, click on the hyperlink symbol and add your link.
Someone else is using my content, what do I do?
If you have a copyright infringement claim simply contact us and we will do our best to rectify the issue. We do not tolerate plagiarism.
Who owns my Articles/Posts?
You do! We do not seek ownership for the articles and you have the right to edit, change, or delete your content at any time.
